Garden Trends For 2015

Are you a garden guru or dull as dirt when it comes to accessorising your garden? Surprising new research into the UK’s garden trends for 2015 by outdoor cleaning specialists Jeyes has discovered what’s hot and what’s not when it comes to our idea of a dream garden. Yes, it seems the time has come for the Great British Public to finally wave goodbye to the garden gnome and grab a gazebo instead.

The study of 2,000 people explored the aesthetic ins and outs of Britain’s outdoor spaces, and it looks like decking, hanging baskets and built-in barbecues are all included in our shared vision of a perfect garden. As for garden furniture, Brits now prefer the likes of rattan, wood and metal over white plastic patio furniture – leader of the poll of what’s out in 2015.

“A person’s pride in their home extends beyond the four walls and our survey shows that Brits have a passion for fashion when it comes to their gardens and outdoor spaces, with clear views on what they consider to be in – or out – of style,” says Melanie Billows from Jeyes. “With summer officially in full swing now is a great time to invest a few hours in sprucing up your outdoor space so you can make the most of it, whether you are relaxing or entertaining.”
